Privacy policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

Secogni is in private beta, available by invitation only. This policy explains what Secogni does with the information of the people who use it.

What Secogni stores

  • Your account details: your name and email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier.
  • The workspaces you create or join, your memberships, and the invitations you send or receive.
  • What you enter in a workspace, such as its name and details.
  • A history of changes in each workspace, recording who made each change and when.
  • Sign-in records: one-time codes and sessions. Codes are deleted a day after they expire, and sessions 30 days after they end.
  • Technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, kept for security and troubleshooting.

Google user data

  • What's accessed: when you sign in with Google, your name, email address and Google account identifier (the openid, email and profile permissions). Secogni doesn't access Gmail, Drive, Calendar or any other Google data.
  • How it's used: only to sign you in, to show your name to the other members of your workspaces, and to show your email address to their owners.
  • Sharing: Google user data isn't sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone else, except where required by law.
  • Storage and security: as for the rest of your information, described below.
  • Removing access and deletion: you can remove Secogni's access from your Google Account's security settings. To have your data deleted, contact us.

Secogni's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
